We took the tour on the Going to the Sun Road. This is one of those roads you want to be sober when you drive it. There were places on it that the driver had to stop and wait for on coming traffic to come through. One side was a vertical wall up and the other was a vertical wall straight down. Even though the sky was hazy the view were great. They claimed that forest fires in British Columbia were causing the haze. Our tour bus was built by the White company in 1938 and refurbished by Ford in 2004. This tour was very informative and best of all, safer than if I had driven us. Tomorrow we will hike the Highline trail to the Granite Park Chalet and then the loop trail back to the Back to the Sun Road for shuttle back Logans Pass.
The photos above are of one of the beautiful valleys in a haze, St Mary Lake and Goose Island, the front of our tour bus and one of the visitors at Logans Pass.
