Three days from today, we mount our "road home"
for the longest trip we have ever planned. Our hopes are that we will get started a
little after 7:00 on Monday(4-6). We
have spent the last couple of weeks working on getting into the RV what we
think we will need for the next two months.
Realizing that we will travel in the most variable season of the year
and the elevation will go from 1100' elevation to over 10,000' feet. The temperatures will probably vary from 20
to 90. This makes clothing a big issue,
knowing that we plan to exercise and hike a great deal.
Our plans are to follow the preplanned route that we have
been working on, as follows:
